"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand,
and the determination that whether we win or lose,
we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."
Debi Guinett Paull
When my grandfather Louis Guinett, Sr., a stonemason immigrant, began Guinett Masonry in 1904 he brought more than old world stone masonry skills to his craft. He passed these values on to my father Louis Guinett, Jr. who began contracting with one pickup truck and a laborer in 1950. Louis, Jr. believed in excellence and set high standards for quality stone masonry. He committed to work with integrity and a tremendous pride of stone artistry, building Guinett Masonry's unfailing reputation.
In 1993, I took the reins from my father. Now as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), I have been working diligently managing daily business operations with the full intent of continuing the tradition of providing high-quality, reliable stone masonry services. Our market has expanded south to California and west to Montana, providing and installing natural stone masonry on residential, commercial and over 100 projects listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
More than one hundred years later, as the company has grown and progressed beyond my grandfather and fathers most imaginative dreams, I am proud that the early values that guided the company have endured, helping us to grow as the industry leader. These values have been passed from generation to generation and employer to employee.
