When my grandfather Louis Guinett, Sr., a stonemason immigrant, began Guinett Masonry in 1904, he brought more than old world stone masonry skills to his craft. He passed these values on to my father Louis Guinett, Jr. who began contracting with one pickup truck and a laborer in 1950. Louis, Jr. believed in excellence and set high standards for quality stone masonry. He committed to work with integrity and a tremendous pride of stone artistry, building Guinett' Masonry's unfailing reputation.
In 1993 I took the reins from my father, along with my husband Gregg, with the full intent to continue the tradition of providing high-quality, reliable stone masonry services. Our market has expanded South to California and East to New York providing and installing natural stone masonry on residential, commercial and over 100 projects listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
As the years have past, we have found that our primary asset is our commitment to excellence. The results of our efforts assure the success of every phase of our projects.
More than one hundred years later, as the company has grown and progressed beyond my grandfather's and father's most imaginative dreams, I am proud that the early values which guided the company have endured, helping us to grow as the industry leader. These values have been passed from generation to generation and employer to employee.
